Important Instructions

PLEASE READ EVERY WORD ALL THE WAY TO THE VERY BOTTOM BEFORE STARTING YOUR ORDER.

At the bottom of this page, you will find 3 videos that describe 3 of the kit items.

Why this team: I have been asked a lot lately about why am I on a team, and what are the benefits? Why THIS team?? It’s not that hard. Team is what I do for a belief that we are stronger together, and achieve more.

So, Why THIS team? Team is not JUST an idea. It is a feeling. It’s acceptance on a level that those who choose not to understand, never will. Knowing that someone is not only there to pick you up, but actually understands where you are without explanation. I have teammates that I have only met through the ups and downs of the triathlon season... and yet, when together, there is no judgement, no expectation except that of passion, and excitement of the next event. I am not the fast guy... I do not only live for a race... I do not have the most expensive gear. What I have, is a family... I have a Team.

Please note that each kit piece has a unique size chart within the description. Please look at the size chart as it is a measurement of the fabric, not of the body.

In 2025, you will have the opportunity to be on one of the many different BASE teams we have available. You are able to be on more than one. The teams which we have open for 2025 are:

  • BASE Triathlon Team
  • BASE Running Team
  • BASE Cycle Team
  • BASE Ambassador Team

Team-focused events for 2025:

  • February 27 - March 2: BASE Camp Florida
  • March 28 - 30: CLASH Miami
  • May 10: Gulf Coast 70.3
  • December: CLASH Daytona

Please follow the instructions below carefully. Please note, in order to simplify things, each particular item (such as a cycle top) will have a unique gender, color, and size. Please review this carefully as if you do not select a "style," then the system will default you to a male white & red team kit. Please slow down and make sure you do these properly.

The options like the above will be available in all pieces.

Each year some of you reach out and ask why one has to "pay" to be on the team. Well, it's not that you have to "pay" - we just can't give all of this away for free. We put these items in the BASE boxes together at cost and try to ensure our team members have what they need to begin representing BASE at the best possible price. Just like all other businesses, our costs have increased. Therefore, the cost of the BASE box has increased slightly.

Now you are ready to place your order. If you are ordering the Triathlon Box, the Cycling Box, or the Run Box, follow the instructions below. If you want to be solely an Ambassador, scroll down. If you are part of the Adaptive Team, email elie@baseperformance.com.

It is strongly suggested that you place your BASE Box order on your computer. You can have this screen either open on your phone while you order from your computer, or you can use two screens. Do not try to place your BASE Box order from your phone or a tablet; it is very difficult.

How it works

The first icon says "Start Here" - please select which year you will be on the team for 2025. For example:

  • If 2025 is the first time you will ever be on the team, select Year 1.
  • If 2023 was your 1st year on the team, then select Year 3.

Please only do this one time. Do not add this item to future orders - this item will cover your shipping, the help in packing orders that we pay for, and will add your email to the team email database.

STEP 3

Select your cotton T-shirt - there are 3 versions:

  • Crew neck for male
  • V-neck for female
  • Tank top for female

These shirts are Bella+Canvas tri-blend soft cotton.

STEP 4

Select your headwear - multiple versions - pick one:

  • Trucker: A 6-panel trucker in both colors
  • Visor: Available in both colors
  • Flat Bill: A large flat bill in the colorful print
  • Very Thin Run Hat: Solid black, similar to what you receive at races
  • Leisure Bamboo: A new hat with a more leisure look that is clean and simple, but very comfortable

STEP 5

Select your 2025 bundle which includes single-serve sachets of the following:

  • 10 BASE Lytes - 2 per flavor
  • 8 BASE Bars - 2 per flavor
  • 4 BASE Waffles - 2 per flavor
  • 10 BASE Greens - 2 per flavor
  • 4 BASE Gels - 2 per flavor
  • 6 BASE Proteins - 2 per flavor
  • 1 BASE Water Bottle

STEP 6

Select your kit: If you want a Triathlon BASE Box, you can pick either:

  • An aero one-piece with sleeves (or sleeveless)
  • A two-piece set: tri top or racerback top, and tri shorts

If you want a Cycling BASE Box, you can choose:

  • Cycle top and cycle shorts
  • If you want to go with bibs, your total will end up being $60 more

If you want a Running BASE Box, you can choose:

  • One run top of your choice

Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of the product page and view page 2 in order to see all the pieces.

Summary

Your grand total for the Triathlon Box and the Cycling Box should equal $521. Enter this code at checkout and your new total will equal $309: 2025TEAM (I am sorry, but we had a massive cost increase recently)

Your grand total for the Run Box should equal $301. Enter this code at checkout and your new total will equal $209: 2025RUN

If you want to be an awesome ambassador for BASE, that is rad. You will just need to select which year you are on the team, select your T-shirt, and the nutrition bundle. Your total should equal $181. Enter this code at checkout and your new total will equal $129: 2025AMBASSADOR

The Ambassador Team is set up for those who want to remain on the team but perhaps have pulled back on their racing schedule. Still want to take part in the fun, stay on the Facebook page, and kind of hang out. Other teams charge a flat fee of around $100. Ours will come with a shirt and product.

The codes are set up so that they will only work one time per email address. This will allow our system to separate out the team emails upon completion per team member.

Well, we are a team. As you can see, you receive over $400 worth of product and items. We already have over 1,000 team members and growing.  By purchasing a BASE Box, you - like everyone else - have a vested interest in the team. Which is what helps make it special. If this were a free team, and we had 5000 free team members, we would just be another Facebook group that is not truly connected.

Do not do this. Double check, TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ORDER before hitting submit. We do not have the ability to correct mistakes such as this in February after you receive your order. I will tell you this happens about 30-40 times every year.

After all of the team orders are in the store and updated, we will then go in and start to get everyone changed over. Mid-December we will send an email out to the 2nd year (30%) 3rd year (35%) and 4th year (40%) ETC.

The absolute drop cutoff date is TUESDAY DECEMBER 10th AT MIDNIGHT. We will be placing one large order with all of our suppliers on WEDNESDAY THE 11th. We will place a second team order on March 1st and open the team store for round 2, so please do not delay.

BASE has a ton of partners such as Quintana Roo, Hyperice, IRWIN Wheels, Zealios, Ceramic Speed, XLAB, Pro Compression, and Garmin. In December, Elie will provide you with one document which has all of the partner codes and info on how they work and how the discount works.

FEBRUARY 27th to MARCH 2nd - CLERMONT, FLORIDA: more of a social camp. $149 / athlete. (covers pool rental fees and team dinners Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Registration will open December 2nd.

Most of our communication is passed along through the Team Facebook page. About 1 or 2 times each month we will send email newsletters to the team via our Marketing software. Please make sure you can receive Promo Emails from hello@baseperformance.com This is why using a valid email address to place your order is so essential

First, this is very, very hard on us, so PLEASE take your time during your order and try to get it correct. If you must change something, send an email to: elie@baseperformance.com with your order number and tell us what needs to be changed up. There is a very high chance it will not go perfect since we are dealing with so many orders at one time, but we will try.

We are sorry, but there are NO returns. These items are all at cost and 100% custom. We do not have the ability to take returns on BASE box items.
